These Yoga classes are Vinyasa (flow) style. Vinyasa Yoga challenges balance and endurance while building muscle strength and flexibility. Most class participants feel like they got a great workout but also feel calm and relaxed at the end of class.
Regular Yoga practice has been shown to reduce stress and increase feelings of happiness. Physically, Yoga can reduce blood pressure and alleviate muscle tightness and joint pain. For the runners among you, runners, by nature, like to run and don’t necessarily take the time to stretch. Stretching will keep you less prone to injury as well as allow for increased speed due to decreased muscle tightness and, therefore, an increase in the range of motion.
