High Altitude Training Camp - Loveland, Colorado

Gorgeous scenery, fun community, professional coaching, and an experience of a lifetime! This 5-day training camp is perfect for those who train at or participate in run, bike, and multisport events at high altitudes. Even if you don't train or participate in events at high altitudes, this camp is great for athletes looking for a new training experience or for athletes looking to experience high altitude training so they can learn to then train more efficiently at low- and mid-altitude levels.

There are 2 options for this camp:

  1. Just the camp; or

  2. The camp + gear transport


CAMP + TRANSPORT

Tri Fitness will arrange collection of and transport for your bike and all of the gear you need to Colorado and back.

Cost: $1100

CAMP (NO TRANSPORT)

You are responsible for getting your gear to and from Colorado or making arrangements for gear rental.

Cost: $950


Itinerary

Day 1: Loveland (elev 4984')

  • Morning shuttle leaves airport (DIA) at 9:30am

  • Camp begins at noon

  • Coach/Athlete introduction

  • Group ride (no drop/fully supported)

  • Check in at hotel

  • Trail run

  • Return to hotel for dinner/seminar

  • Seminars include

    • Camp schedule

    • How to train at Altitude Camp

Day 2: Loveland to Estes Park (elev 4985-8500')

  • Breakfast

  • Details TBA

    • Fully supported group ride

    • Group run

    • Altitude lodge

  • Lunch and dinner included

Day 3: Estes Park (elev 7522-9500')

  • Morning yoga

  • Trail run - Rocky Mountain National Park

  • Return to lodge for breakfast (included)

  • Swim with video analysis

  • Free time

  • Group hike/run TBD

  • Return to lodge for dinner/seminars

  • Seminars TBA

Day 4: Estes Park to Boulder (elev 7522-4990')

  • Morning trail run - Rocky Mountain National Park

  • Return to lodge for brunch (included)

  • Group ride to Boulder (fully supported)

  • Lunch on own

  • Swim

  • Evening dinner/seminars

  • Seminars TBA

Day 5: Boulder (elev 4990')

  • Breakfast

  • Group ride - Boulder 70.3 course (fully supported)

  • Group run - Boulder 70.3 course (1 lap)

  • Camp wrap-up by 1:00pm

  • Shuttle back to airport (DIA)
