Become a better swimmer!

Whether you're a complete novice or an experienced triathlete, we have you covered. Throughout the entire year, we hold hour-long clinics for beginners as well as intermediate swimmers. See below for more details on each!

Beginner Clinics

Limited to 8 participants per session

Who:

Anybody that is interested in learning how to improve their swim technique (which is most of us!). This is geared toward beginning swimmers, and not those with advanced skills. This is for you if you can’t swim 2 lengths of the pool without feeling exhausted OR have yet to put your head in the water. The focus will be on body position and balance, which is integral to learning how to swim effectively. 

When:

Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 1:00-1:30pm

Where:

Chippewa Middle School (map)

Why:

Because swimming is EXCELLENT excercise, and most of us can improve our form.

Cost:

$40

Please wear a swim suit or Jammers, as you will be in the water.

Intermediate Clinics

Limited to 6 participants per session

Who:

This clinic is designed to improve swim comfort, efficiency, and speed. Improvement in each of these areas will develop the foundation for a faster swim with less effort. Ultimately, a better swim can also lead to a stronger bike and faster run! You should be able to swim at least 6 lengths of the pool without stopping.

When:

Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 1:30-2:00pm

Where:

Chippewa Middle School (map)

Why:

Our experienced swim coach will help you get the most out of your swim. Creating balance will increase your efficiency which leads to speed and comfort in the water.

Get all of this in the clinic:

  • Stroke efficiency analysis
  • Coached workout within a small group and individual attention.
  • Customized training program focusing on improved swim efficiency and technique for each athlete. Individual programs will include swim workouts, swim drills, and swim specific strength work.
