Endurance Camp - Tri Fitness Training Center

A multisport endurance event is one of the toughest one-day challenges you will ever face. You spend your time and effort training all year ‘round to ensure a positive race day. In this weekend long camp, you can take advantage of our coaches’ expertise in multisport endurance events.
We use the Ironman Madison, Wisconsin course to host our 3-day camp. We provide excellent training, course-side coaching and education to make sure you have the information you need to feel comfortable, confident and strong on the course.
Our camp is a unique experience. It is designed to be inviting, educational, motivating, effective and fun, and is geared for athletes of all levels and abilities. All training sessions will be fully supported with coaches right on the course with you to give training advice and answer questions. You will also be able to utilize what you learned in the evening seminars on the various courses throughout training.
You will swim in Lake Monona with our awesome swim coach. They will help you learn how to best begin your triathlon swim for a mass or wave start, and will aide you with sighting and swimming within large groups of people.
You will bike through rolling farmlands and tackle the big hills on the IMWI bike course. Our coaches will be biking alongside you giving coaching advice
in real time. We will also have rest stops along the course to provide you with rest and water as needed.
You will run through the city of Madison to get a feel for what it’s like to run post swim and bike. Our coaches will be there guiding you how to best run the flats and hills of the course. There will be a rest period for water and coaching advice.
In the evenings you will enjoy a meal with your fellow participants and coaches. After some socialization, we will have seminars that include nutrition and mental prep information to help guide you through your endurance event.
Our camp is jam-packed with training, education, motivation and socialization so you are to able to walk away confidently prepared for your event. You have sacrificed time with your family, friends, and work, so make sure you are truly ready by joining us for this unforgettable weekend.
Endurance Camp will be guided by Ironman finisher and Tri Fitness founder, Vicki Ostendorf, as well as other experienced coaches from Tri Fitness!
We will be staying at the Sheraton (map) this year. Hotel fee will be $147/night (+ tax) for singles and $162/night (+tax). You are responsible for booking your room. Link to book will be available here soon.

1:00-3:00pm | Bike (leaving from Ramsey County Beach Memorial Park)
3:30-6:30 pm | Presentations and dinner
Day 2 | Saturday
7:00am | Meet at Square Lake
7:15-8:15 | Swim followed by a 70-mile fully supported ride
Time for run, if desired
BBQ and discussion
Day 3 | Sunday
7:00-8:00am | Meet at Square Lake; run drill workout
8:00-10:30am | Bike (+riding some hills)
11:00am-12:00pm | Swim
