As a coach, I see things in each individual that they don’t necessarily see about themselves….it is my goal to allow everyone to realize their potential then, provide the coaching and support to get there!

Professional History

I graduated from UW - LaCrosse with a degree in Corporate Fitness and Minors in both Business and Coaching. I spent 4 years playing outfield for the women’s fast-pitch softball team in LaCrosse. Shortly after graduating, I realized I really loved torturing individuals on an ongoing basis, so personal training seemed to be the perfect fit. Jack Zahn

Personal Trainer

Credentials: NASM CPT, B.S. in Kinesiology, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

I am a believer in evidence-based and research proven forms of exercise, I don’t get caught up in fads. Fitness goals take hard work and patience to achieve, but I am there to help you complete them! You work hard, and I will work hard to make sure your goals are accomplished. 

Professional History

Professional History: I graduated recently from the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!) with a degree in Kinesiology. At the University of Minnesota, I interned with the football team in athletic medicine. Through my studies, I found that I enjoy the fine details of movement and exercise, so personal training was a perfect fit. I have experience in small and large group classes, one-on-one personal training, and corporate wellness. I enjoy running and strength training as my favorite forms of exercise (fall is my favorite time of year to run outside).

Adam Gergen

Performance Cycling Class Trainer

I strive to help our clients and Tri team position themselves to accomplish any mental or physical challenge/goal. My primary job with TF is to lead our performance cycling classes and ensure our clients progress with bike technique, posture, and overall stroke. Nothing more pleasing than to see a person consistently working hard on the bike increase their power and endurance through TF performance cycling classes.

Professional History

Graduated college with business Marketing degree from St. Cloud State University in 2006. Since graduating I have been an account manager in sales/project management (10+ years). During my time away from work you can find me outdoors under the sun enjoying a run, bike, swim, ski session, and even some climbing. Currently training for Ironman #2 (WI 2019).

Fun Facts About Adam

  1. Completed both 70.3 and 140.6 triathlon distance races (IM WI 2017)

  2. Enjoy photography as a hobby (still learning)

  3. Huge WI Fan – Go Packers, Go Badgers, Go Brewers

  4. Have a twin brother (fraternal) – nothing alike

  5. Absolutely love MN and Twin Cities area; however, could move to CO and play in the mountains tomorrow and be totally content (300 + days of sun)

  6. The race I’m most looking forward to in 2020 is the American Birkebeiner cross country ski race (my 2020 race goal)

I am well versed in improving position on the bike, power output, interval training, bike handling, bike tech, and maintenance. My ultimate hope is to help my students achieve their training and racing goals while remaining healthy and excited about triathlon.
